Gingerbread man cookies

Hello beautiful folks! Happy Sunday morning ๐Ÿ™‚ I hope you all have enjoyed your magical Christmas.

Gingerbread man cookie is another treasure from Christmas platter, a timeless classic that is deliciously flavoured with lots of spices, brown sugar, butter, molasses. Easy to make and always supple.

My munchkin likes to start with its head first and her reaction were amazing and hilarious when she said “OH NOOOOO”. She does not eat much and she doesn’t like cookies too. But, this lil man, touch her heart and she ate it. I love her mysterious smile when she saw it.

Well, Christmas is incomplete without Gingerbread man cookies. Cookies are best when these are in deep ginger colour and spicy in flavour. I have used dark brown sugar with orange zest. I love this way, but, you can always mix the flavour according to your preference. This is my kind of gingerbread man cookies and decorating these cookies is a fun part for my munchkin. She helps me a lot.

It made my Christmas so beautiful when she arranged the cookies for the shot.

When it comes to making their lil sweetheart, it’s very easy. Cream the butter and sugar, egg or cream, vanilla, next is molasses. Then mix the dry ingredient with spices. [Voila] roll out and cut your cookies by cookie cutter and bake. After baking decorate your Gingerman cookies as you like with simple icing or royal icing. It’s totally up to you.

These cookies loaded with a generous quantity of ginger, cloves and cinnamon powder with orange zest. When you eat, every bite is going to start bursting flavours in your mouth.

Every cookie has a secret ingredient, mine cookies having black paper and orange zest with flaky sea salt.

So, enjoy your Gingerman cookies with your favourite beverage while sitting on the sofa and watching your favourite show.

I love the scents of winter and it all about spices. Love the winter ๐Ÿ™‚

I am addicted to Gingerman cookies. I mean that seriously. If there are Gingerman, I will devour them.

Happy weekend ๐Ÿ™‚

Vegan Boozy Eggnog

Beautiful Christmas morning to all ๐Ÿ™‚ Boozy nog

After spending a long hectic day at the hospital for my daughter’s EEG, I really need a spiked drink. Well, this is Christmas and what is better than a spiked eggless Eggnog.

As a flavour junkie, I always enjoy spices in curry, drinks, and soup. But, this chilled cup of hotness is spoiled me with spiked boozy flavour. I am making this for rainy Christmas eve for me and my sweetheart. It’s completely sugar-free, egg-free and dairy-free. So, when I drink this down, I don’t wanna feel guilty about it.

Once you try this, you’ll fall in love with this drink. Spiked with classic bourbon and spices like cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, sweetened with dates. Actually, this is my latest obsession with the famous eggnog. You’re not gonna believe I have tried eggnog the first time in my life when I moved here in the Netherlands last year. One of my neighbours offered me this classic beauty. I don’t know it’s having egg in it. This year I made my own version of egg-free nog. Trust me, it’s gonna spoil you.

This boozy spicy sugar-free hottie is a rich creamy flavour. I feel like that’s all I needed at the end of my hectic day, give it a try babes. There is no Christmas without spiked bourbon nog, get in your holiday spirit and drink it up. Now question is, who’s got the bourbon, time to get into the holiday spirit. I used Jim Beam, which is lovely in this if you want, you can switch to rum as well. You can make it with egg/egg-free or alcoholic/non-alcoholic as well, it’s totally up to you.

OMG, this sounds astonishing, that elevated your thrill about eggnog if you never had nog before. C’mon go guys have some or you can make for yourself and drink while decorating the tree, watching Christmas movie and that’s it fa la la la laโ€ฆ

It’s the time of eggnog, candles, cakes, songs, reindeer, carols, laughter – and most importantly LOVE.

Wish you a Merry Christmas ๐Ÿ˜‰ Happy holidays!

Rose Dry Fruit Kheer

Rose Dry Fruit Kheer – An exquisite dessert recipe to relish during the festive season. It is an easy, quick and simply elegant yet delicious kheer that is made with just a few ingredients such as rose petals, dry fruits, and rice along with milk. I have used date paste that makes this dessert more healthy and addictive.

The use of rose in food is considered as royal and rich by some and is often reserved for special occasions. It is also for temple food they use rose as an offering. Rose petals are a symbol of royalty and delicacy. Roses are known to enhance the aesthetic beauty of anything they associate to and food is not an exception to it.

Rose petals can either be dried and crushed in the recipe or fresh petals are either shredded or directly added to the food. You should be careful while selecting the rose for your food preferably organic rose flower is the best option for food. The rose petals should be cleaned and washed thoroughly in running water to make sure it is devoid of the harmful sprays (insecticides). I have used both freshย and dried rose petals.

When you add date instead of sugar in your dessert that makes your dessert more healthy and delightful that you can eat without any hesitation or guilt. A showstopper of the evening is this Shahi rose and dry-fruit kheer, which has become family favourite.

When you think about your food always listen to your heart and do not hesitate to make it healthy. Desserts can also be healthy and delicious. This is my guilt-free version of this classic and royal and authentic Indian dessert that I can eat any time of day or night.

Stay healthy, stay humble!
